Cameron Diaz’s Father Dies Suddenly

Cameron Diaz’s father has suddenly died early Tuesday morning.
58 year old Emilio Diaz was reported to be in “terrific health” until he developed the flu which then turned into pneumonia. The foreman for an oil company made an appearance in “There’s Something About Mary” as Jailbird, but relatively lived a simple life.
When asked for a statement Cameron said this:
“My mom, sister and I are deeply appreciative of the overwhelming outpouring of love and support during this difficult time for us and all of our family. My dad was loved by so many people and his humour and spirit will always live on in our hearts.”
